FCC Commissioner Circulates Document on ‘The State of Media Journalism’ -article by Matt Cover, CNSNews.com

Media censorship on the move. Looks like they're wanting to investigate new ways of making news more "fair." The Fairness Doctrine doesn't seem all that far fetched anymore. Wiki's definition of Fairness Doctrine: It was "introduced in 1949, that required the holders of broadcast licenses both to present controversial issues of public importance and to do so in a manner that was (in the Commission's view) honest, equitable and BALANCED." (my emphasis)

According to this article, looks like that's EXACTLY what their intentions are. Making licensing more difficult to receive. And who do you think will have a much more difficult time receiving their broadcast licenses?

If that's not disturbing enough, how about what will take the place of those "select media outlets not being renewed"... -"public media." -This is straight from the mouth of an FCC commissioner.

So how many "public" ran agencies, businesses, bureaus does this make now? Media's next folks... media's next.
